Service rooted in the community I call home.
My name is Ramiro Veliz IV. I'm a 25-year-old lifelong resident of Laredo, a proud father, and a strong believer in the power of education. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and am on track to complete my Master of Business Administration this December.
Public service has always mattered to me. I've worked on local campaigns and learned that leadership begins with listening, accountability, and service. Those lessons, along with the example of public service in my own family, inspired me to give back to the community I've always called home.
